Sustained stakeholder engagement is very vital in the business of tackling marine environmental issues. Here, we paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos Area Office of the Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). In attendance were representatives of Credo Marine & Energy Services, The Ocean Cleanup and Coca-Cola. NIWA’s area manager Engr Mrs Molara, expressed the agency’s readiness to support all efforts aimed at solving the problem of marine litter and plastics in Lagos waterways.
